Grana Padano PDO Cheese Pepe Spaghetti

Ingredients
1 pound spaghetti 

2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
6 tablespoons butter

1-1/2 cups grated Grana Padano cheese, plus extra for serving

Salt to taste
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente. While pasta is cooking, add oil and cracked pepper to a large frying pan and toast for 3 minutes on medium heat.
Just before draining the pasta, scoop out 1 & 1/2 cups of starchy water and set aside.
Add 1 cup of the reserved pasta water and butter to the pan with black pepper and then add cooked pasta. Toss until the sauce thickens slightly.
Remove pan from heat and slowly add the Grana Padano cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce coats the pasta (add more pasta water if sauce seems dry).
Transfer pasta to serving platter or divide among serving bowls.
Top with extra grated Grana Padano cheese and serve.
